The A Litter 2022
Date of Birth: May 27th, 2022
07/29/2022: First Vet Visit at Dill Animal Hospital and first vaccine, 5 way booster.
07/21/2022: Second de-worming with Fenbendazole.
07/07/2022: First de-worming with Fenbendazole.
06/23/2022: Second de-worming with Pyrantel Pamoate.
Audrey appears to have a small umbilical hernia and has been reduced in price to cover her spay and hernia surgery. The vet will fix the hernia while doing the spay and it shouldn't cost much extra, which is why we discounted to cover any extra charge.
06/09/2022: First de-worming with Pyrantel Pamoate.
May 26th, 2022: Four gorgeous babies were born in the evening. An up and combing doxie breeder, Paige Hartford, assisted with the delivery and did wonderfully! Three girls and one little boy were born, Azalea was born first, followed by Alasdair, Audrey and last was Aurora.
For this litter we chose to pair our Sushi, with an out of house stud from Beautiful Dachshunds named Mickey. We hope to bring more chest, coat length, and a straight top line into our program from this pairing.
We are expecting Black and Tans, with a possibility of solid black, puppies in this litter.
Mickey's owner will get first pick, followed by our pick.
For concerns: Sushi is a wonderful mother, this will be her 5th litter. While we normally like to have a cut off of 4 litters (5 is our max), Sushi has proven to be a loving, caring mama to her pups, and to bounce back within one week after whelping, which is why we have chosen to breed her again. Sushi has previously had a litter of 3, 2, 3, and 2, so we are expecting somewhere between 1-3 puppies.
